It all started back in war times when the soldiers in the war needed cheering up. The army provided coffee and doughnuts to servicemen. However, this rubbed off at home and now it is a way to raise awareness about the war and raise funds for The Salvation Amry.
To celebrate you can do some charity work, buy some doughnuts to treat yourself and you could even make your own.
