Today is red rose day. It's all about the love and romance today.
Red roses have been cultivated for over 5000 years ago in China. Red roses in Greece and Rome were a luxury item for a long time.
For a while, roses were used in the medicinal and religious purposes.
Although the Rose did loose popularity in europe when Christianity became a more known religion.
The best way to celebrate is to buy yourself or somebody else some roses and you could even plant some in your garden.
